The reading light’s switch button, positioned on the head of the light, has a range of functions which are activated by short pressing. Initial short press switches on the reading light, providing low light illumination, while the second short press increases the brightness to a medium level. A third short press maximizes the light to a strong level, and the fourth short press turns the reading light off, halting illumination. If the switch is continually pressed, the LED lighting will cycle through low light, medium light, strong light, and finally off, allowing you to choose the desired brightness.

For models with a yellow (warm white) LED light, long pressing the switch button on the head of the reading light triggers different functions. The first long press changes the reading light to cool white, while the second long press shifts it to warm and cool white. A third long press reverts the light to warm white again. Continuing to long press the switch will cycle the LED lighting through cool white, warm and cool white, and warm white until the desired color temperature is reached.
